Our fun trip to Austin!

Last saturday we took a family day trip to Austin! We have been looking forward to this for a few weeks now and had all the places we were to visit planned out. Ricky's sister (Tia) and brother-n-law (Tio)came with us. This was Avery's and Titus' first trip to Austin, Leigh of course was born there but had not been back since she was 9 months old. First we left the house at 8:30am and went to Daddy's race which started at 11:00am. He did great and got 7th over all. He is really getting good at cycling. Then we went to the CoOp or the University book store and got a few new fun things (we can't make a trip to Austin and not come back with some longhorn accessories) Then we went to the UT campus (Daddy's old stompin' ground) and walked around. We showed the girls (well really Leigh was the only one interested) the UT tower. We sat by the turtle pond and rested awhile, this was a big hit, tons of turtles. We ate at Texadelphia, one of mine and Ricky's favorite places to eat on campus. And last but not least, a huge highlight for Leigh was to see the hospital where she was born. Avery and Titus were born at different hospitals in Waco and every time we pass by one of them she will point out that "that's Avery's hospital" or "that's Titus' hospital" and then says she wishes she could see her hospital. So that is exactly where we went, with pictures of course. We also showed her the appartment that we brought her home to. It was a great fun filled day! Boy did we wear them out! Austin is so mich fun to visit but we are so glad we come home to good old Lorena!

5 months old

Titus was 5 months on Feb. 29. Even though his first few months have seemed to drag because we want him to get better, other times I don't know where the time has gone. Out little Titus is doing better than he ever has been but I feel we are still guessing about some things especially now that we are starting cereal. He still seems to have tummy issue sometimes.
He is a very smiley baby and rolls over quite well. As soon as you lay him down on his back he flips to his tummy which makes diaper changing difficult at times. He loves to watch his sisters from his bouncy seat but he would prefer to be held at all times if I could. He is on reflux medicine which seems to help him be more content and he is sleeping well at night. We love our T-man!

My big sister Avery colored my head with marker!

This picture screams "I have two big sisters!"

Do you like my hat?

This is my usual pose when I drink my bottle, please do not disturb me!
